Community and Schools Engagement Program Coordinator
Mahad started working with Himilo Community Connect in 2018 as a Community and Schools Engagement Program Coordinator. Before joining Himilo Community Connect, Mahad worked with Banyule Council Youth Services team and The Somalia Australian Council of Victoria as a Community Support worker. Mahad is passionate about identifying opportunities, supporting and encouraging young men and woman to overcome many of life’s barriers. In his work with Himilo, Mahad delivers projects which aim to build leadership, teamwork skills and positive outlook on health and overall wellbeing.
Mahad Studied a Bachelor of Applied Science in (Physical Education). Mahad enjoys cycling and everything history.
