New to Himilo in 2021, Abi manages the Homework Club. Before joining Himilo, Abi has had 10 years experience in education. Graduating with a Drama, Applied Theatre and Education degree, she has always been interested in using theatre and creativity to allow students to transform and question the world.  Most recently she has worked as a High School Drama, English and Music teacher at Prahan High School & Brunswick Secondary College and is passionate about education.
Originally from the UK, she has been in Melbourne 4 years. Abi has worked teaching English as a foreign language in Malaysia, Vietnam, Italy and Australia.  Abi loves working with young people and believes by strengthening and establishing supportive relationships with students in and out of the classroom environment will allow students to succeed. She is delighted to be running Homework Club to support students, allow for further opportunities and to see students succeed.
Outside of work she sings in a choir, loves her book club and looks after her 15 month old daughter.
