Abdiaziz Farah is the General Manager of Himilo Community Connect. Himilo Community Connect. Abdiaziz has commenced with Himilo as the lead co-designer. Abdiaziz has extensive experience in the areas of policy and program development, service delivery, community engagement and inclusion, and sustainable social enterprise development. Abdiaziz has actively worked with key community agencies, government departments and CALD communities to promote full and meaningful participation of ethnic communities in the social, cultural and economic life of Victoria.
Abdiaziz is the founding president of the Australian Muslim Social Services Agency and was instrumental in the design and delivery of the Muslim Youth, Adults and Families (MYAF) alcohol and other drugs program, the first of its kin Australia.
Abdiaziz has served on various government and community boards including Victorian Multicultural Commission, Ethnic Communities Council of Victoria, Islamic Council of Victoria and Victorian Drugs and Alcohol Prevention Council. Abdiaziz has Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Science from RMIT University.
